FOOD DONATIONS:
The Ronald McDonald House and the Red Cross are asking for help in providing sack lunches for family and friends of victims waiting at Sunrise Hospital. They're asking for donations of non-perishable single-serving food items such as soup, bags of pretzels and chips. They're also asking for items to put into the lunches such as bread, turkey lunch meat, cheese slices, fresh fruit or fruit cups, chips, and single-serve fruit juices. Donations can be dropped off at 2323 Potosi St. Las Vegas, NV 89146.
The City of Henderson says donations of food and water can be made to the Red Cross location at 1771 E Flamingo Rd, Ste 206B.
